Cat
Background
Cat is based in Edinburgh.
Some of her favourite running & cycling routes feature stunning views of Cramond island and Edinburgh castle.
Cat has always been very active and started running in her early highschool years.
She came to triathlon later in life but quickly realised her passion for training all three sports.
Since discovering triathlon she has had the opportunity to pursue her passion, going back into full-time education to develop her knowledge of sport and exercise science.
Throughout her years of training she has had to overcome many challenges and understands the difficulties that can arise in sport and training.

Coaching Philosophy
Cat believes that coaches are granted a unique opportunity to guide and support athletes through their journey in sport.
She uses a person-centered approach to create and adapt programmes.
She is passionate about supporting individuals to overcome personal barriers and obstacles. Cat believes everyone can achieve those BIG dreams inspite of the challenges.
She uses regular check-ins and catch ups to gain insights into athletes lives and develop an in-depth understanding of who her athletes are and what drives them.
Cat hopes to help individuals develop confidence in their sport and fitness abilities while supporting them in reaching their goals and exploring their limits.

Joe
Background
Joe was never the sporty kid at school, he always came last at sports day.
Fast forward to now and this is certainly no longer the case.
Joe has taken part in endurance sporting events for over a decade.
He started out running marathons as soon as he could at the age of 18 and has since moved on to Ironman triahtlons and 24 hour endurance mountain biking events.
He has competed in over 50 endurance events and is always searching for the next challenge. To say he is addicted would be an understatement.
For Joe triathlon is more than just sport, it is his passion and community.
He believes that this sport was the catalyst for improving his physical and mental wellbeing.
Which is why he believes that anyone can reach their goals, no matter how challenging.

Coaching Philosophy
Joe's coaching philosophy is focused on supporting athletes to find enjoyment in the training process without sacrifcing other aspects of their life.
He believes that athletes are most likely to achieve their goals if they enjoy the training process.
This approach allows them to push beyond what they previoulsy thought possible and can improve both their physical and mental wellbeing.
Joe has been coaching for several years and coached athletes from complete beginners to age-group podiums.
